Good idea, needs clearer instructions
I purchased the LipsKit Complete and a Custom Lip Gloss Kit, and overall, I'm happy with the products. The concept of mixing your own shades is fantastic, and the vegan ingredients are a big plus for me. The pigments are vibrant, and the final lipsticks feel good on. However, I found the instructions for the LipsKit Complete a bit vague in some spots, especially regarding the exact ratios for different finishes. I had to do a bit of trial and error, which used up some of my pigments faster than I expected. The Lip Gloss Kit was easier to use. Delivery was on time, and packaging was secure. If they could refine the user guide, it would be a five-star experience.
Fun to make your own lipstick
So I finally got the LipsKit Lite, and it was pretty cool. My friend told me about it, and I was curious. It took a little bit to get the hang of mixing the colors, but once I did, it was actually really fun. The lipstick I made turned out pretty decent, and it feels nice on. Shipping was normal, got here when they said it would. Definitely something different to try if you're into makeup.
